Getting motor freshened still 11th in points, the 94 2nd in points

Things got exciting at the start of the UMP Hornet Feature as Derek Morris got turned hard into the front stretch wall. The rest of the field did a great job avoiding Morris as he spun down the straightaway.

Derek Morris took command early in the race and never looked back. Fourteen-year-old Morris went on to win his fourth feature event of the year and took over the point lead from Drew Smith who failed to start the feature event

ok just found this topic so where do i start. well we have only ran gokarts at the Santa Maria Speedway 2 times now. 1st race i sucked because my motor wouldn't run. we got it to run for the main and won it. now we just ran the 2nd race yesterday. more gokarts this time and the kart ran good during practice. we whent out for the heat race and the kart shut off during the race. turns out it was a wire messing it up. got a few laps to make sure it would run and it did. the 2nd round of heat races i started on the pole and won. the main came and it was like a demoliton durby. i started last rown inside made it to 8th and got spun. finally we got the green and after one lap i got hit enuff to where i was off the track. body got tore up so a few little thigs to do. well no we will just wait for the next race to come.

Adam Noonan was awarded his seventh feature win of the year after post-race inspection found the cars of both Drew Smith and Dylan Herman were not running the same sized tires on all four wheels resulting in both drivers being disqualified.

Unofficial Oakshade Raceway UMP Hornet Champion Derek Morris was credited with a second place finish followed by Brice Miller, Dylan Burt and Cody Stetten.
