I am a fan of BMX. I loved watching SpeedRacer when he used to race. I even loaned him my bike once, he crashed it into a fence or something and ended up keeping it and getting me a new one. I think he still has it hanging around somewhere.

I started racing when I was 5(raced big wheels at Devonshire Downs when I was 4, lol) and raced off and on throughout the years. One of my last races was at a national in Reno. I was wearing an open face helmet, and was out leading the race and got crossed up, and face planted into a jump. Broke my jaw in 2 places and now have a metal plate in my chin. That was 10 years ago this past Jan., still have my last 2 racebikes and enough extras to build 2-3 more hanging in the garage. Those were some good times though!

We just started in ABA-BMX. My son is an 11yr old novice, and has won 5 straight events. I wish he would slack off a bit so he could stay in novice longer, but he wants compitition. I think when he moves up to intermidiate he won't like it, LMAO
