Okay this is kinda technical if you ain't a boat racer, but here goes....

The starter gives the next 2 racers "thumbs up when your ready" and the drivers give thumbs up and the course goes from red to yellow. We were told we were DQ'd for firing the motor before the course went yellow after it was announced that we treed our competitor. So we go back to the pits and agree it was petty but in the rules, and we start draining the fuel lines. We notice our class going back to the water and an official calls us to the water too. We think ok they reversed it...Get half way down the boat ramp and they tell us to go back to the pits cuz our driver didn't make the drivers meeting that morning.

WOW, what a crock. I thought some of the bad calls I have had to deal with over the years were bad but to get busted twice in one day would really suck. I know how hard you guys in the drag boats have to work and be prepared to race and that sounds pretty chicken $%@^ that they did that too you...

Yea I know Jon Lemoine...haha I don't go looking for pics of me...bad enough they appear on facebook all the time. What really sucked about it, was the guy we tree'd (our r/t .0125 to his (.1something) won the next round and put him in the finals cuz his competitor broke on the start line. We woulda drove home with close to 2K in purse money. Sorry still stewing over a petty BS call.
