Rich McCormick started a successful new thread showcasing famous Sprint and Midget drivers from the past. I thought since there are so many people into supercross, and motocross here now, I would start the same thing with famous RIDERS from the past.
Not only will you have to name the rider(s) in the pictures but, each picture will have a question about the rider. I will also give 50 points to the first person to post the correct riders name and answer to the question 
Im going to start off with one of my favorite riders of all time........
Who is this rider? and
What was he famous for doing while he was in a Supercross race? (be very specific)

OK this one was way too easy. It is Jeremy Mcgrath and he is doing his infamous NAC-NAC (has nothing to do with a high jump) which is what he is doing the that picture.
Cindy wins 50 points. I will post the next picture later tonight.....

it was a trick while doing his high jumps sorry i forgot a few words....that will keep you on your toes trysicl..that gives me a nice boost :)

This next guy is famous for lots of reasons but what I want to know is.....
1. Who is it?
2. What is he famous for doing on a motorcycle and why was it so special?
3. What year and what event did it take place?

Carey Hart lands the first ever backflip in competition on a motorcycle at the 2000 Gravity Games in Providence.As a result of the jump, Hart compressed vertebrae in his lower back and pulled ligaments ....also first person to ever do this in front of a crowd.

OK Cindy finally got it right.
1. Cary Hart
2. first person to do a backflip on a motorcycle in compitition
3. 2000 gravity games
Mike Metzger and Travis Pastrana were already doing the backflip but they were doing it in foam pits. Cary was the first to do it in compititon and that is what really started his fame....... Good job Cindy.

OK, im not going to be using easy pictures and questions so make sure to really read the questions and answer them very specific.........
1. Who is this rider?
2. What manufacturer gave him his first factory ride?
3. In what year did he lose his factory ride and what were the reasons for it?
