Did you guys know about this rule, Before the season started the drivers had to check a box on a form as to what championship they want to race for. They can run all three series, cup nationwide and truck but can only collect point for the 1 they mark on this form. So the winner of daytona gets no point because he chose nationwide as the series he is running for the championship. So as it stands carl edwards is leading the cup series with 42 points. I would like to see them take it 1 step further, completely take the drivers not running for that series championship out of the points equation, Carl edwards finishes 2 but finished first out of the drivers running for that championship and should get 1st place points, 43, and so and so forth. PS I do not like edward but I would like to see another rule change. I would like to see ventura adopt this rule so when the senior drivers choose the run in the pro class because there class is off, they get no point and take no points away from the pro drivers. What do you guys think?
