Created over 3 years ago I was born with it, and there is no know cure. The racing gene is probably the strongest gene in our families blood. My dad is a guru when it comes to making things go fast, and trust me when I say fast, I mean FAST!!! ______________________

Created over 3 years ago my family has been racing since the speedway here in santa maria started. my great grandpa was the first to race and now it's in the family. our family is know mostly in santa maria and ventura. i started racing gokarts on assfault in 2005. i didnt really like it so everyone said for me to try on dirt. i fell in love with it and im still racing as of this day. ______________________ Families_that_race_together_stay_together |

Created over 3 years ago every kind of racing starts one way but then it gets better. your dad sand draged race and your in the dwarf car. now you got to look for the next person in the family to come along and start something new. thats how it was for my family. ______________________ Families_that_race_together_stay_together |

Created over 3 years ago My parents started taking me to Hawkeye Downs (a dirt track back then) shortly after I was born, and I have always loved the speed, sound, smells and feel of racing. Started pit crewing at Saugus Speedway after I turned 18, and have been either crewing or officiating ever since. When we are in the Phoenix area for our SpeedTruck races, we usually go to Manzanita for some dirt racing to add to our asphalt fix. |

Created over 3 years ago LOL...again, I have never been to actually watch one live. But, I have always loved watching all the dirt races on TV. I don't know where it came from, because no one in my family does, but I just think it is awesome. And all of you that do the races you guys, and gals do a wonderful job!!! Keep it up...very entertaining!!! |

Created over 3 years ago My Dad and his bothers race i was born in to it i grow up @ Crystal Motor speedway. i can pull a motor befor i can walk. i see the racing @ CMS go from 39 car a night to 136 and up car a night. i got my raceing going when i was six in KArting did that and that ever summer and till l i was 16 then got my first real race car a IMCA MOd ben doing it since. i just go back to karting last year. i been racing for 24 years

Created over 3 years ago It's in my blood....my grandpa raced motorcylcles before my dad was born. My dad has owned cars my entire life (starting with sprint cars at Ascot). Some of my favorite memories as a kid were playing in the car while he was working on it. I have met some great people through racing...and also, some not so great people. It's a passion....there is nothing better than sitting at a dirt track taking in the smell of burning fuel, and feeling the thundering of the engines in your chest. Just Luv it!!! It's frustrating when we don't do well, or when people from the track make stupid comments...but that's why its so exciting too! You never know what will happen at the track! |

Created over 3 years ago I had never seen dirt racing before and went to a race of speedracers and have been a fan ever since....it is AWESOME!!! Keeps you on your toes and never know what excitement you are going to see!!! |
