CONCORD, N.C. The National Hot Rod Association will hold its first four-wide national event this May at Concord's Zmax Dragway.
The NHRA Four-Wide Nationals, scheduled for May 25-28, will be raced with cars going four-wide instead of using the usual two lanes. Qualifying and eliminations for Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle will be four-wide, while the drag racing series will continue in the traditional two-lane format.
Big props to Bruton Smith for taking Drag Racing to new limits.
