2010 The World Speed Record will be in July, and two guy's will try to go 1000 MPH on Land. Andy Green from the UK and a American Team, Here are sum photos of there car's. Looking foreward to see who is Faster.

1000 mph...seriously? Yea and some loser I went out with once told me he had a boat that would run 600 mph, then I told him the dragboat MPH record was 264 set by a friend of mine...needless to say there wasn't a 2nd date.
Let me know when that salt rocket is gonna attempt 1000mph, I will be the one in the t shirt that says "hold my beer and watch this"!!!!

1 G on land has got to be insane, thank god nascar does not run the show, restrictor plates on land speed cars would suck, lol

iI kinda see couple problems with the second one... that large lip looking gap above the cockpit, it does'nt look very aurodynamic. and another concern, how does he/she get in!?!
