This is going to be the new quiz section on Drag Racers of all types. Each new quiz will have an assigned amount of points given on the quiz page itself.........
This is a multi part question worth 100 points.

not sure what but i think it was in the 70 s

2. Lions Associated Drag Strip. The strip was also referred to as "LADS" by locals, and as "The Beach" by racers.
3. 1970
4 As a result of the accident, Garlits completely redesigned the racecar, placing the engine in a safer position behind the driver, rather than between his legs, and debuted his new invention at the track a year after the accident. His design proved so popular – and unbeatable – it became the top fuel standard within a year. Rear-engine dragsters like Swamp Rat XIV have since become mainstream in drag racing.

Dang Crew member, I thought for sure you were going to figure out what year it was because you were so close and had the rest of the answer right. Ive seen this happen before when someone post an answer but it is either not complete or has part of the info wrong and someone else swoops in and does a little research then post the full an correct answer. There are a lot of drag racers on WTF now and i am sure there will be some good battles to figure out some of the upcoming quizzes. Cindy gets this one correct not because she has a more detailed answer but because she also got the exact year this happened. I could have asked what month it was too but I am sure she would have found out it was in march.
I will post the next quiz tomorrow. Good job you guys.......

OK, this one should not be too hard.....

2. 50 bonus points if you post a picture of this driver drag racing something else WITHOUT WHEELS.

VERY GOOD Kart racer. You are totally right. I thought for sure a drag boat racer on here would have gotten this one right. That is a great picture you found in one of his boats too. Good job, points are on there way.

OK, This one might be part easy but im thinking the second part might be hard...
This is one of the most famous pro stock drivers ever so its only 50 points to tell me,
1. Whos is this driver?

mike i think racegirl is right. i foun this pic and the only difference is there is no name on the side of yours. only difference is mine said he was in a Plymouth Arrow

GOOD JOB Kartracer88. I knew when I was researching the quiz and saw that picture that people would either think it was a pinto or a Vega. I think I gave to much of a clue when I wrote the question but its all good. Your points are on the way. I will work on the next one right now........ Good job!

Shirley CHA CHA muldowney , and yes Heart like a Wheel was the movie. Cha cha is her nick name but back in the day, most of the men had other not so nice names for her.
