Created over 3 years ago Wont really know till this saturday for the Dwarf opener how the track really handles but, you guys sure did put on a good show. Did not like the new wall blocking the pit stands from seeing turn 3 & 4 and the dust seemed to come up earlier then normal in your A main but other then that, it was a good show and you KICKED AZZ making it all the way back up to 5th........... ______________________ Mike lewis.......aka, Speed Racer |

Created over 3 years ago Ventura Raceway is in Southern California, right on the beach. Probably as famous a ASCOT was but it is still running after 30 years. Used to be the thursday night thunder on ESPN and some pretty famous drivers were discovered at Ventura like TONY STEWART........ If your even planning a trip to Cali, be sure to bring your dwarf and see whats its all about on a super fast high bank 1/4 mile.

Created over 3 years ago Hey Kart racer, you need to get in touch with Jim Naylor, the promoter of Ventura. I heard talk at the end of last season that karts were going to race there again. I raced karts at Ventura for a short time years ago but it was on the big track and we tore up a lot of equipment cause the track was too rough for karts. Now they have 2 flat infield tracks that the mini dwarfs race on and those little kids look like they are having the best times of there lifes..........

Created over 3 years ago I can't truely tell you from a drivers stand point. But from a fans spot I think the track is better! I haven't been able to drive a sprint car on the track to tell the difference but I have gotten to drive in a couple of different classes for the first time since the track was built. And I had a blast racing Micheala stantons sport compact last weekend! Huge thanks to Micheala and her dad Jeff for letting me race there car. I also have to thank Bryan Saxton for letting me drive his dwarf car at the practice as well that was alot of fun. |
