My uncle started the family in the racing business in the late 40s as he drove a 1937 Ford Flathead Coupe in the Coal Region of Central PA. My cousin also covered the racing in Central PA for the Evening Herald newspaper, now the Herald-Republican paper in Pottsville, Pa.
