I first started my involvement in racing as a fan, at Hangtown Speedway in Placerville. After a couple of years, I worked as the assistant to the then announcer, Steve Somers. A couple of years later, I was the announcer. I quit to go off to college and a career at sea, coming ashore to crew for various teams, at first in NorCal, but then later in Texas.
I picked up a camera a couple of years ago, and started Manvel Motorsports (www.manvelmotorsports.com) last year.
