Hey, my name's Nanci and I own 2 cars that run out of Barona Speedway. My husband Roger drives the factory stock and I drive the pure stock. With the help of his brother Lyle and my checkbook we keep my cars running hard and looking good every race. We live in and love Lakeside, have 2 great kids, V and Greg-O, that totally support our "racing addiction" 3 beautiful Rottweilers...Gunnar,Bodacious,Roxie and a Burmese Python named Angus who needs "anger management classes". For the "haters" that don't understand our "racing lifestyle" SORRY!!!! Wish you could have as much fun as us, but that will NEVER happen!!! I'd like to thank all the drivers who race us clean every week and a BIG thanks to all our family and friends that come to EVERY race no matter what the weather is like! RACE 1, hmmmmmm ok its was GREAT being back, damn I always forget how much I love it up there. Roger did great in his heat but ended up in a wreck in turn one in the main and F'd up his radiator so got to watch the race from the infield. I was so nervous all day but after I ran my heat race it all went away. Got lapped in the main but its all good, had a blast and I know I'll get better...I have the best teacher!!!RACE 2 was cancelled due to rain. RACE 3, I broke in the heat,something internal so I parked it and Roger got 5th in the main and drove it on the trailer...good night at the speedway! RACE 4, Roger had a not so good heat race, started mid pack and drove a awesome race! Ended up 3rd! What a great Mothers Day present!RACE 5,what a crazy night! Roger raced first,wadded up his frontend in the first few laps of his heat race, done for the night which doesn't make for a "happy" Nanci since I love watching him run. So I told him to drive my car in my class and he WON! Started on the front row and checked out. No pressure on me now .. LETS GO RACING!
